you're a cheap date. ONLY FIVE HUNDY ??? couldn't someone with your, er, natural talent for spreading the plastic-carded and folding paper varieties of your hard earned pingers spend CONSIDERABLY more than that there?
like, couldn't you rationalise that you are helping save the planet by purchasing their goods? wouldn't that justify considerable amounts of dosh flowing thru their bank accounts, as tons of buyage was delivered to your house in eco-friendly wrapping?
i heart the red tankini, amelia has a blue-floral rashsuit, and we get many comments at her swimming lessons about what a confident wee boy she is :P we thought the floral motif would do enough, but apparently a baldish chunky monkey bellowing with delight as daddy throws her in the water just doesn't come across as feminine.
good luck with your budget!

I know. I'm almost a bit sad about it. Funny what an impending single income and a renovation balance to pay off does for the shopping enthusiasm *sigh*

I really don't know exactly how one confuses Amelia with a boy kiddly. Not at all. Especially if she's wearing flowers. Even if they are blue ones. Maybe it's the evil gleam in her eye ... sweet (heh) little girls just shouldn't have permanent evil gleams ...

she got it from (as i understand it) her extremely evil aunty whose name begins with S. no, the solid thighs, the wispy male pattern baldness, and the solid thumping manner with which she approaches life is not, in the typical sense, feminine. i am hoping she will actively re-write feminine tho - in fact, suspect she already is.
hmmm, single incomes suck - we are getting past that point as i bring some $$$ in again - working from home is BLISS tho, as i get quality munchkin time whenever i want. and all of my beauty products and home products are tax-deductible, so i can splurge. and our home is eco safe; and amelia can't poison herself with anything we keep in the house. and i am saving the planet - well, some of it. so all is good in karma world.
