Some would argue that I asked for it

Scene - The husband and I have just had a gorgeous chicken and mustard pie for dinner and obliterated the entire thing. The husband went one step further than me, and opted for dessert as well (I'm still recovering vaguely from a couple of quick barfs mid afternoon. Bleh!)

Me, patting the husband's tummy affectionately, but prepared to leap out of swiping distance at any moment "Are you growing a No. 9 too?"

Him "Nope. I'm growing a number two."

Boys are great.

So turns out you are blogging to pass the time... 3 posts in one day! Record!

Wonder how many you will do over the next few days?

Nervous energy m'dear. Lots and LOTS of nervous energy.

I'm a fidgeter by nature - count yourself lucky that your not watching me pace holes in my new carpet as the clock counts down!

Love the nervous energy...and the amount of posts. But I do hope your wait is soon over and you get your BFP.
On the other hand...hubbys are soooo gross! But it's hard to have a Number 9 without them!

Here's one for Al, from A: http://www.southparkstudios.com/clips/155631
If you really are growing No. 2, make sure you get an ultrasound ...

That episode was on just recently ... and, I can confirm that the boy was bent double, and had rolled sideways on the couch laughing, with tears streaming down his face. As I said ... boys are great.

He'll be so pleased to have a linky to watching it again.

Oh and Esther ... it's easier the way we did it! I can see it now, trying to explain the ...erm... joys of conception to No. 9 ... "Well darling, when a Mummy and Daddy love each other very much and Daddy has his own room and a special type of magazine and a plastic cup and Mummy is full as a boot with drugs and there is a surgical team standing by with lots of shiny medical instruments (and a HUGE ASS needle), and there are monitors in several directions and an incubator and a lovely lady who is very clever at mixing up babies and ... " It'll be an interesting day!

Ewwww twos! All the best... on the plus side I think the needing to barf and the aforementioned bloatiness are positive (i have had both - and before i did any tests). I'll be sending positive baby thoughts your way this week for No. 9.

Mel (not Phil, obviously)

and that was from the man who until 8 point something months ago would hurl at the mere thought of dog pooh on his shoes . . . now he happily sniffs suspicious nappies (while still on the treacherous butt) with the best of us . . . and doesn't think twice about changing them. pooh is grand.
bloating is good. heavy boobs are too. and barfing.
keep that all up!!!
