Helpful comments so far include ...

Looking skeptical, "Maybe it'll have a small head. If it has a small head it'll be ok...".

Quite, I'm sure. Because babies don't have shoulders.

And my personal favourite ...

Preceded with a look of wide-eyed wonder and an expletive "That one's going to make your eyes water when it comes out.".

You think?

i think number nine is a boy because you haven't put actual 'weight' on - just baby (and how!) thus far. if not - then its DEFINITELY a girl. bet you one of those guesses is right :)

ARGH! Argh! Argh! AAAAARRRGGGHHH!!

None, I repeat, NONE of that is in my birth plan. When I do one.

And I have no idea about the weight thing ... but I doubt it'll last much longer at this rate.

Cute Puku!! I just looked up the pics of my 16 week tum with Benjy, and I was about the same! Fear not Simmone, he came out just under 8lbs. Little bugger gave me a truckload of stretchmarks though!

*hyperventilating* I'm counting on the fact that both Al and I were 7lbers (in fact, I was bigger than he was - which is a bit of a worry) so maybe ... just maybe ...

Meh. Who am I kidding. Who has money on 10lbs?

As for stretchmarks - there was a moment a week or two ago where the husband came home from work and parked up a chair while I was getting dressed, and pointed out STRETCHMARKS!! Argh! Argh! Aaaaarrgghh!!!!

Thankfully said stretchmarks had disappeared later in the day so it must've just been where my jammies had mooshed into them. Ph-ew!
