When I was at NZWW, we had a couple of different stamps that we used when articles had gone through different stages of the editing process. "Needs proofing", "Final", "Final with corrections marked", that sort of thing. After a couple of months, my fellow sub-editor replaced the "Final with corrections marked" stamp with one that read "This is YOUR problem now". It took the higher-ups SIX MONTHS to notice and pull the plug on that one. Classic.
