Does not wanting to know counts as a valid reason for not ordering the recommended material relating to all things birth-related for antenatal classes?
I think I deserve brownie points for even booking the antenatal classes in the first place just quietly, even if I do intend to keep my eyes closed and my fingers in my ears the entire time.

It is purely ok! Im glad I wasn't the only one in the world with that problem now!.. and in case you have a fear of needles, miss the pain relief class... they show you the epidural needle with the tube hanging out of it! - My lovely DH was so excited about it... and I was peeping through my fingers trying not to puke!
Oooohhhh ... Mind you, it can't be much worse than the foot-long needle contraption thing they use for egg collection in IVF ...? Surely ...? Oh dear.
foot-long? Eek! I dont think its that bad, its just really creepy especially with the tubing hanging out.. and the whole butterfly thing on it...
How the hell did you deal with a needle that big???
